The 3-day Victoria Falls tour is a great way to see the Victoria Falls starting with a flight from Johannesburg. The Victoria Falls tour includes airport/hotel transfers and access directly to the falls along a pathway a few hundred metres from the hotel.  Also included is a sun-downer cruise on the Zambezi River. Enjoy the African scenery and wildlife while sipping your favourite alcoholic or non-alcoholic refreshment and watching the amazing sunset over Africa! Optional activities such as a helicopter or fixed-wing flight over the area,  additional game viewing, visits to a cultural village, bungee jumping, etc. can be added. You can book these activities at your hotel concierge or with us beforehand to avoid possible disappointment. You could even add a night or two here – just let us know!

DAY 1. Johannesburg – Livingstone – Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls tour commences from Johannesburg with a flight from the O R Tambo International Airport to Livingstone Airport and on arrival, a transfer to your hotel. This afternoon you have the opportunity to explore the area on your own. Overnight at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort (Departures from Cape Town and Durban is possible with added flights).

DAY 2. Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls is in its 150 millionth fantastic year! Truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell, the humbling feeling that this may indeed be nature’s supreme masterpiece. Nothing prepares one for your first sight of it. This tour does not include a guided tour of the falls, but you have unlimited access to the falls from the hotel – a few hundred metres easy walk. You can also book an optional guided tour, where you will be accompanied by a qualified guide who will give a brief history of the area as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird and wildlife and other points of interest. Afterwards, you return to the hotel, or you can continue with your own exploring.

Later this afternoon embark on a 2-hour Sundowner Cruise. Enjoy finger snacks, beer, wine, champagne and soft drinks while slowly cruising on the Zambezi River. It is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. You have the opportunity to see a variety of game including hippo, crocodile, elephant and sometimes even rhino! Overnight at the hotel.

3. Victoria – Johannesburg – Return Flight

After breakfast you can do and some last-minute exploring on your own such as optional flights by helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft. Then you are transferred to the local airport for your flight to Johannesburg arriving mid-afternoon.

NOTE: You can add the Chobe area as well as the Okavango Delta to this tour and travel today to these destinations. See the tours hereunder from the Zimbabwean side; they can be added on day three from the Zambian side.
