A wildlife safari tour to the famous Kruger National Park in luxury microbuses in search for Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) and a host of other animals such as the over 140 species of mammals! This tour is designed for those with little time, but who still want to experience the Kruger Park, the biggest reserve in Africa at around 20 000 sq km – slightly smaller than Belgium!

DAY 1.   Johannesburg – Kruger Park

Our first day on this wildlife safari tour takes us from Johannesburg via Middelburg and Nelspruit to the famous Kruger National Park. Enter the park in the south where our encounter with Africa’s amazing wildlife commences.  During the rest of the afternoon you search for the Big Five and many other species such as giraffe, zebra and antelope such as kudu, nyala, impala, etc, etc. Arrive at the camp late afternoon after an exciting  couple of hours for dinner and overnight. Overnight in a Bungalow. (Dinner included)

DAY 2.  Kruger Wildlife Safari Tour

We devote today to game viewing in search of the Kruger National Park’s ‘Big Five’ among a whole host of  other wild animals.  Your guide will arrange a lunch stop (optional) during the mid-day period.  After another game viewing session, arrive back at our camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.  Back at the camp you can join an optional night safari.  The safari vehicle utilizes high powered spotlights to find the nocturnal animals.  Overnight in a bungalow. (Breakfast and dinner included)

DAY 3.   Panoramic Route – Johannesburg

After a final game drive and breakfast, continue via Kowyn’s Pass to the Escarpment and Panoramic Route. visit The Pinnacle, God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Blyde River Canyon.  Then, unfortunately, we are at the end of our tour and have to return and arrive in Johannesburg late afternoon. (Breakfast included)

Then we travel through the Abel Erasmus tunnel and descend down to the Lowveld en-route to Tzaneen. Explore the town and travel into the Magoebaskloof pass where our hotel is situated. The rest of the afternoon you can embark on short explorations around the hotel and marvel at the scenic views. Overnight at Sherwood Country House. 5 Day South African Wildlife Explorer Guided Tour – Johannesburg to Durban (Code: SCJD)

This Wildlife Explorer is a shorter version of the Wildlife Expedition (SCMD), excluding one night in a private reserve, making it more affordable, but still almost 4 days of  wildlife viewing including the boat cruise on Lake St Lucia, situated in the iSimangaliso world heritage site! The scenery includes the Panorama Route, Swaziland and the Zululand forests and lakes. DAY 1. Gauteng – Panoramic Route (wildlife safari) This wildlife safari takes us via Middelburg and Dullstroom to the Three Rondavels view site at the Blyde River Canyon. We visit scenic areas such as Bourke’s Luck Potholes (a walk down the hill to see this unique trick of nature is worth the experience), Lisbon Falls, God’s Window and the Pinnacle before a short visit to Pilgrim’s Rest, an early gold mining town declared a National Monument.
