Day 1.      Nairobi – the beginning of your Serengeti and Masai Mara Safari! On your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport near Nairobi, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Arrive in time for lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. On a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro is visible in the distance.  Your close encounter with Africa’s amazing wildlife starts this afternoon on you first safari. Amboseli has an abundance of lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest among others. After this introduction to what you can expect on the rest of the safari, return to our accommodation for  dinner and overnight.
