A piece of wilderness between the Crocodile and Sabie rivers in the far north-eastern part of South Africa was proclaimed as a national park in 1898. Since then the Kruger National Park has grown to nearly 20 000 sq km and became one of the world’s greatest reserves!

Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to the majestic African continent and has become an attraction for many celebrities, artists and tourists alike. Our tours are designed to show off the city in all its diverse facets. It is also the departure point to destinations such as the scenic Garden Route along the south coast, the semi-desert Karoo and the beautiful coastline to the sub-tropical holiday city of Durban on the east coast. Join our tours to enhance your experience of this beautiful coastal landscape!
Johannesburg is the largest city and financial hub of South Africa. It has a few endearing names such as Jozi, Jo’burg, eGoli, and Joeys. It is also the provincial capital of Gauteng, the economic hub of South Africa and the city falls within the 50 largest urban agglomerations in the world. Johannesburg is also the most popular entry port for many airlines from the region and internationally. Many of our South African travel packages start here.
Port Elizabeth, also called ‘Nelson Mandela Bay’, is one of South Africa’s larger cities situated along the south-eastern coast of the country. Often called the ‘Friendly City’ it is primarily a holiday destination with open sandy beaches. PE is the economic hub for the locals in the area and further inland. The city also effectively demarcates the eastern border of the scenic Garden Route and places itself as a perfect beginning or end to a tour through this scenic area! We conduct daily departures from here and Cape Town.
Durban is situated along the sub-tropical east coast of South Africa and is synonymous with balmy weather (even in Winter) and beautiful golden sandy beaches. The city is home to an extraordinary cultural melting pot of African, Eastern and Colonial heritage. It is the destination of family fun on the beaches, street markets and eateries offering a huge culinary diversity - often with a 'strong' Indian flavour. The famous Bunnychow, a curry and bread dish originated from there! It's an international entry port and gateway to excellent safari opportunities. The highest mountains in southern Africa, some of the highest forested dunes in the world and other breathtaking scenery and tropical beauty are all destinations are within three hours' drive from the city!

I booked the tour from the UK with Debbie via email who was an absolute delight to deal with. Debbie patiently dealt with all my emails and questions perfectly… read more prior to our visit. We booked a 3 night tour from Cape Town to port Elizabeth for me, my husband and ten year old boy.
We were lucky to have the lovely Hans as our guide who has such a wealth of knowledge and really made our trip perfect.
The accommodation along the way was superb as were the many activities and sites visited including Cango Caves, Ostrich farm, National Park with the suspension bridge, Birds of Eden & monkey sanctuary.
Do not hesitate to book with Southern Circle Tours.
Thank you Southern Circle for such a great trip.
This was an accompanied tour with an individual guide over a 3 day period out of Durban. The tour included breakfast, dinner and overnight accommodation all of which were of… read more good standard. My guide was very knowledgeable and amiable which is a must if you are sole companions over a 3 day period. I learned a lot about South Africa though I would recommend reading up a little history before taking the tour as the sites visited are not in historic chronological order covering the great treck (1835-1838), the Anglo Zulu War (1879) and the South African War (Boar War) (1899-1901).
I would thoroughly recommend this company for their touring expertise as I am sure, from my own experience, their itineries would be well planned and expertly executed.
